~About Us~
Elder Care Services was started by our Director, Sharon Chader LSW CMC, in 1996. As a social worker in a retirement community, Sharon saw many residents who did not have a local family member or family was unavailable to help with day-to-day needs. She joined the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and began offering services.
Due to a good reputation and quality staff, we have grown each year. Our referrals come from clients, family members, and other professionals who are pleased with our services. We hold a Minnesota Department of Health license under Home Management, and are bonded and insured. Each Case Manager is either a RN or a licensed social worker. We are legally considered a for-profit S-Corporation, but our emphasis and mission has always been ministry oriented. Each employee has a passion for working with older adults and/or people with disabilities.
